Whats the point of doing free surveys for people, none unless you are returning a favor or make them owe you a favor. What about surveys done by businesses or door to door weiners, non unless you get something back right. Well, I went out of my way wasting time to fill out an AMD survey like 2 weeks ago cause it said if I did I get a free T-shirt. Brian turned me onto this survey and his stuff is usually legit, as well as AMD usually being legit. 2 weeks and still no T-Shirt, wheres my damn T-shirt, I don;t fill out surveys cause i'm concerned about issues, who does... geeez, I just wanted a T-shirt and I have no T-shirt to show for my efforts, hehe.

In other things I've been a downloading fool lately, I've actually filled up both of my hard drives which incidentally is not a good thing. What have I been downloading, episodes of Batman, Superman, Spiderman, X-men and Justice League as well as episodes of Stargate SG-1 and live performances on COnan O'Brien.

I've downloaded performances from conan leno and letterman, mostly conan, before but I got a pretty odd one this time round. It's Blink 182 playing 'First Date' Travis is wearing this Princess Laia type wig but thats not the weird part you expect that kind of thing. The weird thing is that Tom is sporting 2 black eyes and a broken nose, no joke, its definitly not makeup, and Mark has 1 black eye. Mark also doesn't sing any backup/harmonies for Tom even thoguh he has a microphone setup.

I'm not a Blink 182 expert so I'm not sure if he's really supposed to sing backup, but this struck me as odd. then right before the show closes out Conan is thanking his guests, and says thanks to Blink 182 for playing even thoguh they seem a little beat up backstage, and then Tom goes 'I don't wanna talk about it.' The show closes out and as usual the person next to Conan talks to him, in this case Tom cause earlier guest Martha Stewart is gone. Mark and Travis talk and never turn to look at Tom its the weirdest thing.

Now sure someone would guess that they were playing around but it sure didn't seem like it espically when I know that Fenix TX's bass player had to fill in on drums once for Blink cause Travis got in a fight in a bar. Are Blink 182 really bar room brawlers, can anyone enlighten me as to what happened on that night, did the band get in a fight with each other and Mark kicked tom's ass, did they get in a fight with Martha Stewart and she kicked both their asses???? Anyone respond to this if you have any idea, I'll show you the video if you wanna see it.

I forgot about Blog these past few days! Sorry about that, I won't let it happen again... (yeah right). So tomorrow is Friday, and that's always a good thing. I can go to class, and come back and go to sleep... I don't have to worry about waking up for Band practice or anything like that. I don't really have much to say except that I beat Metroid Fusion today. That is one kick ass game, and I'm proud of myself for beating it... I only used a walkthrough for about 1% of the time... and that was only because I was so stuck, that I almost killed myself. And as a good friend of mine always used to say, "NEVER use a walkthrough unless you're "this" close to killing yourself". Thanks for the advice buddy! Ok, I'm going now, cause it's my bed time! Tomorrow I may go see the new Bond flick, so I'll let you all know how it is (as if it will be anything less than spectacular). Peace.

Ok, I guess it's time for me to contribute an actual post to this Blog. After all, it is MINE!!!! First off, I'd like to say (for the record) that I am NOT gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that... it's just not my thing. I'm sorry if I let you down Ryan... hehehehe. So I went to a recital not to long ago, and it was pretty cool. It was a Senior Oboe recital, and the chick was freaking awesome. For her first piece, she had a whole string section accompaning her. I actually stayed awake the whole time! Supposedly, I have to perform 2 recitals before I graduate, but I don't see that happening. I'm just a freaking Music Industry major... no need to go all out with the trumpet playing!
As I stated in my previous post (what's this... a new paragraph!?!?!), I saw Nerf Herder and Guttermouth last night. That was super fun. I just feel the need to state that again. I just got a letter from Michael about some Sally's Stitches stuff, and I must say, I'm pretty pumped about the whole thing. I'm sure Dave is with me when I say that we are going to take over the world. So be prepared.
Just last week (I'm starting to like these paragraph things) I bought the Lord of the Rings Special Extended Edition. It was an amazing movie when they released it in theatres. In fact, it was my favorite... but now... it is even better. The extended and new scenes add so much more to the movie. If you haven't read the books, then the extra scenes won't really be all that special to you, but then again... not many people HAVEN'T read the books, as they are the most read books second only to the Bible. I definitly recomend reading all three of the books, plus anything else from Tolkien. The man was truly a genius, and Lord of the Rings is only a tiny tiny tiny part of the massive ideas this man had in his head. He basiclly, single handedly, created a Mythology for Europe a.k.a. Middle Earth, complete with at least 3 different Languages, that can actually be learned and spoken (Viggo did a pretty good job of speaking Elvish in the movie). But enough of me praising the genius.
Also, when I was in Wal Mart buying LotR, I finally got my hands on the Yoda toy! This is by far the coolest toy of the Episode II series. If you can find him, buy him. He currently resides right next to my computer, complete with Light Saber, rock lifting, levitating coolness. I'm so proud of my purchase! Speaking of money... can you believe I am going to be paid $20 to play in the basketball Pep Band next Wed.? That's like $20 just to have fun... don't you wish you could be me? Of course you do.
This Saturday is the USM vs. Tulane game. I'm actually pretty excited, because I get to play in MY place of worship... the SUPERDOME!!! That's like holy ground for me. After the game they are giving us all money, and unleashing us into the French Quarter for 3 hours. It be really cool if I were from somewhere other than New Orleans. But instead it just stays at cool status. I always like eating when I don't have to pay for it... ESPECIALLY in the French Quarter.
Ok, I think that's it for now... I hope you enjoyed my paragraph divided post! I'll try to do this more often. Until next time... PEACE.

So I saw Nerf Herder last night for a whooping $6. That was cool. They were pretty good, thought they messed up a bit... especially at the end. Guttermouth freaking rocked the house! They are so unbelievably tight... the lead singer was so drunk, but he was so awesome. Sorry to cut this short, but I have a recital to go to. Shame on everyone who didn't go see Nerf Herder, and Guttermouth... you missed a great show.

I've been 21years old for like 45 minutes now and I really see no new benifits.... being 21, by conclusion, sucks.

Brett, snores too much. Being out of school on a Friday sucks. Having to pay 38+ dollars to see Ash open for Saves the Day is too much and therefore I'm not going. I'll probrably regret it later but I don't have that kind of money right now. Penguin is actually gonna play a show after like 2-3 years of nothing!!! Crazy. Its on the same day all of us are recording X-mas songs, go figure. I'll try to make it but it turns out.. friggin Chas Brosco is opening, and that makes me want to not go.

I'm bored cause its still early (1:49pm) and I don't wanna like wake up Brett cause umm its just a habit of mine to try and not make too much noise while a roommate sleeps, going all the way back to Ryan. Maybe i'll make noise anyway, or just play video games as ususal. I'm gonna try and actually get some song writing finished up thias weekend, I'll let you know how it goes. Thats all for now.

Never give up, never surrender.

Holy crap am I bored. I'm sitting in my room this morning realizing that I need to find things to do till I go to Mike's house to pack and go to the Ark. So how bored am I.

I am so bored that i I actually worked on my Squire bass guitar for 2 hours. I re aligned the neck, put 2 new strings on for the rusted high ones. How bored am I?, well after working on the bass I played it for an hour, and not just played it I was playing along to PCB American College Student. Whats funny about te whole thing is that since I've become such a better bass player, the album actuaslly kills me cause its all too damn fast. I never realized how much of a punk band we were. Seriously, if you have a copy, go listen to it again, we're a freaking punk band, even my slower of songs is still punk.

How bored am I you ask, I've been on the computer playing stupid games like Solitare and Free Cell, and bejeweled. How bored am I, I'm actually reading reviews of video games once again. I did homework.... aaaaahhhhhhhh I'm gonna Explode if I don't use all this energy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM

(allen exploded)
