I got to sleep late today cause I didn't have class this morning... that's totally bitching. Now I'm about to get dressed and go hook it up at the Commons. I'd type more, but I really don't have much to say. I played Final Fantasy IX for like 3 1/2 hours last night... that was fun. O yeah, and Feable Weiner rocked my freaking face off Saturday! Those guys were so great, and really nice too. Dana wanted the guitar player... Richard wanted the bass player... I just wanted to rock, and rock I did. I hope we can play with those guys one day... we'd really fit together. Anyways, I'm hungry so I'm going to get my grub on. Peace.

Ahh yes Mardi Gras, the holiday I absolutely cannot stand, yeah I'll unfortunately miss ever parade and the holiday itself cause I'll be in Hattiesburg cause I have a test on Monday and a class on Wednesday. Not that I really care even if i get off I don't go to anything, if anythign Mardi Gras would be the greatest time for me to start my life of crime. Think about it, almost eveyone in St. Bernard goes to parades, in Metarie not everyone goes, cause its too big a Parrish but in good old Chally I think 50% of them park cars on the road and 97% go to parades, whether it be in St. B, or N.O., or Metarie, or whatnot.
Anyway, not only that but almost all of the police force is either in the parade driving in it or on call on the parade route. All I have to do is do a little research and find a good street to hit and organize it so that I even have help maybe friends working another street. We'd be unstoppable, and All I have to do is find out when the parade gets close to an area, then I make sure its an area where the parade ends and starts on the other side of the street almost at the same time giving me even more time. I wait for the core to go to the parade and hit the first house, by the time I get through the first house all the parade stragglers should be gone by now, and You would think that my car in the area would seem kind of suspicious but good ole Mardi Gras has solved that problem twice over. People have parties and also go to parades with each other so I have 2 stories, 1 I'm going to a party and thats why my car is in town or 2, I have a friend drive by in intervals and make it look like I'm being dropped off at someones house for a party or make it look like we got back from mardi gras. To add to it all we have to do is put on some mardi gras beads and we're already part of a chalmette parade crowd. not only that on the side of my plot, can anyone explain to me why people wear beads from old parades out to the parades, its like they are making up for the beads they won't catch. Isn't the Parade Addict point of going to a parade to catch all the things specific to that parade or to catch the most stuff possible. Casual goers are only there to get trashed and thats fine until they start yelling at people for no reason circa Mardi Gras 1998 in Metarie, boy was that a hoot.
So anyway while you're fighting some punk ass 9 year old and his more punk ass bitch 13 year old brother for useless beads and getting your hand stepped on by some fat maniac who tried to stomp on a dubloon and you tried to get it with your hand, just know that all your household valuables are in good hands... mine.
By the way for those who don't know we are up to 7 people for the Radish Golf Classic. 3 of those people have never touched a golf club before. Hopefully Mike can make 4 or anyone else. Anyone else wanna join we can gladly have more thasn 8 people it was just the first number I used.

New Chalmette trend... Yelling at your son's basketball coach if he doesn't play enough minutes...
Dammit, wait... that's an OLD Chalmette trend...
New Chalmette trend... Parking your truck for the parade and THEN putting a stick in the ground 30 feet behind it with yellow "caution" tape tied to the truck and stick. More space! Hooray! Holy crap!

"I want to see your boobies." - Donna
Yes, in the same night, I wanted more weiner and Donna wanted to see Dana's boobies. Holy crap.
Any boxing match that is shorter than Sally Stitches' version of "Hawaii" is pretty pathetic.

I like your thinking Ryan. So, sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I haven't really had much to type, plus I got lots going on. I'm a pretty busy guy. Actually, I've been sitting around the dorm all day playing Final Fantasy IX. I plan on actually finishing it this time. So far I've logged in 26 hours and 34 min. Ok, I don't have much too say... I'm going to Wal Mart cause it's too freaking hot in this dorm room. Peace.

I hate doing 2 in a row espically when I havn't slept in between them but since midnight passed I'll consider it ok. anyway, I'm posting to tell you guys about an article thats good. Its done by a side section of The Onion, called the Onion AV Club. Basicaly its the most serious part of the onoin you'll find but its still yet kinda funny. Basicaly when you read something they write you tend to like it a lot more than reading a critics article or interview. the Onion AV actually did possibly one of the best interviews I've ever read with a band done with Fountains of Wayne. anyways, the AV Club apparently over the years has asked 1 question to everyone in music movies tv books etc and has conmpiled it into 1 big article including words from Clive Barker, Jason Shwartzman the dude form the kinks and many many many more, so anyway you should check this out.

"Is there a God?" "What happens when an immovable object meets an irresistible force?" "Why did Cyndi Lauper hang out with all those wrestlers?" For eons, a few simple questions have haunted humanity. The Onion A.V. Club has committed itself to answering the unanswerable by polling one of human society's most valuable resources: the celebrity community. What follows are dozens of responses to one simple, haunting question: "Who could you take in a fight?"

The Onion has never really ever disappointed me, it is always at least humours but sometimes it just makes a complete gem that gets me laughing so damn hard that I eventualy hurt from laughing, you know what I'm talking about. Heres the latest in painfull laughter.
Laid-Off Zoologist Goes On Tranquilizing Rampage
SAN DIEGO—Twelve San Diego Zoo visitors and two employees were brutally sedated Monday, when laid-off zoologist Dr. Brian Vermeer, 41, returned to his former place of work armed with a tranquilizer gun and began firing into a crowd. "It was kind of horrible," said Maria Christopher, 44, who witnessed the tranquilizing spree. "People were gently falling asleep over the course of 20 to 30 seconds everywhere." The spree ended when Vermeer turned his gun on himself, knocking himself out for half an hour.

All I want is to get my CD back.
hehe I couldn't resist that one. actualy all I want is to live in Weiner Arizona. I mean sure theres a lot of other things but that tops them all.
hey Dana, say what you want whenever I promise I won't be freaked out if you tell me you really have a hankering to do some mud wrestling with 5 other girls and then to make out with them kinda like in that miller light commercial; ..... or anything else you may tell people but that statement in particular would be really cool if you said it. As for the other things in the list, just do it.
on other subjects, I put like 25 flyers up looking for people to play with in the band, so far no replies though I did see a few of the things torn off in 2 of the buildings, hopefully it was people with intent to contact me and not people needing something to write on hehe. I'm also working on the IMPBA web page right now, its pretty fun I forgot how much I enjoy writing code. If anyone wants to look at the site i'll be replacing goto www.impba.com whoever they are paying to make that thing is about to get what he deserves, no more job. also the lady I'm in contact with for some reaosn or another emailed me and asked me to look at the www.namba.com web page (which is another similar organization). can anyone else go to that page for me and tell me what they think cause i actually don't like that format with all the pop ups its confusing to me. Also it would be a bitch to code all kinda of mouse over javascipt garbage. but anyways, thats all for now. have good sleep.

Yo, what's up? I just changed the look of our lovely blog, and added a cool picture that I drew all on my own! I like it this way a lot better. It's simple... you know, whithout all the bells and whistles and rickita rackita. Ok, I'm going to eat some Stuff Crust Gold now. Peace.

Just a few words before I sleep. Tonight's show was beyond fun! It was the greatest time I've had in a really long long time! I was so excited leading up to the show, I just wanted to play so bad! Carrie Nations rocked... I wanna see them play again. Garage shows are the greatest. Ok, I'm going to sleep now cause I'm hella tired. I'll write more tomorrow, I promise. Peace.

Ryan, you should write these down, I'd buy these books. By the way for those of you who read the onion they just put out one of the greatest articles that Mike is sure to love I'll post a link below.
"Yankees ensure 2003 Pennant by signing every player in Baseball"
http://www.onion.com/onion3904/yankees.html
Theres also a great article about America hording weapons of mass destruction in one of the Dakotas. Yeah so anyway I have 2 tests left today, and then more classes tommorrow, and then finally I get to head to Baton Rouge for a fun filled weekend. I'll have to find things to do in-between though which brings up another point. I just lost my racquetball and running buddy, Casey. Somehow his ?financial Aid got like all screwed up and stuff, so he had to move out of the dorm, not even sure where he is or what's going on. That leaves a total of like 2 people on this campus that i talk to, 1 being Brett, and the other being my Creative Marketing teacher who said he wants to follow Sally stiches from the start cause he wants to do a study on a band from the start. Hes a pretty cool guy actually, first teacher I've ever known who knew who Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake were, then again I never asked Rusty if he knew about them but Rusty is a hard thing to judge this dude by cause Rusty kicks too much ass.
Yeah so anyway, Brett left for the day, and I could study, but where's the fun in that. Oh yeah!!!!! I saw an episode of Batman yesterday and theres a really really big mess up in it. theres a scene in which PENGUIN HAS 5 FINGERS!!!!!!!! How can they let something that big slip, geeez.
Hey Ryan i like your idea of just making up stories, how about this one, Today in Elam cafeteria some really hot chick came up to me and asked my name cause she has like 3 classes with me and she never knew my name. Then she told me she plays some kickass guitar but can't find a band to play with, so then I told her about my band and she felt so inclined to come to my room so I could show her the songs, she was soo happy and said she'd join and she'd also tell her other firend who happens to play some drums. We started a band and then we made out in my room all night, and then watched more episodes of batman and ICT ........ then I woke up.

It's 11:14 and I'm feeling tired. I figured I'd post before I go to bed. I got a big day tomorrow, and I'm confident that everything will go well. It's going to be a great show. I'm not nervous, but I'm really excited. I more than likely won't sleep too much tonight, but that's ok. Word on the street tells me it's gonna be pretty packed in that garage. You know, I get really down about the lack of support bands get around here, but sometimes I just can't complain. It's really our first show, and all signs say we'll have a pretty decent crowd. It's good to be able to play a first show with a good crowd. I watched Back to the Future III today. I forgot how awesome that movie is! I think if I had to rate them I'd rate 1 as the best, followed by 3, and then 2 coming in last. Not that 2 isn't good, because it is, but I liked the time setting of 3 a lot more. I'm more of a past kind of guy. Right now I'm listening to the Star Wars Ep. II soundtrack... I can never get enough of this. One day I want to meet John Williams just so I can tell him how great his music is. Truly inspiring stuff.
So it's pretty much definite that I'm not coming back to USM next semester. It's not that I don't like the school, because I really do. It's just that I hate being away from home. I'll more than likely miss it here. I've only really made like 3 friends up here, one of which quite after last semester, but they are all really cool. Also the teachers here are really nice and helpfull. But I just think I'd be happier at home, because as we all know, "home is where the heart is", hehehe. That was totally gay. What I won't miss though are these damn dorm rooms! The fact that they want to make me pay to live here, but won't allow me to turn on a freaking A/C when it's hot as hell outside is absurd! Also the fact that the latest I can ever eat is 7pm, is total crap. I should be able to eat up until at least 9! Facist Bastards!!!! Ok, so that probably isn't considered facism, but I don't care, because this machine kills fucking facist! I showed them today... I stole two big cups of pink lemonade, and a pocket full of napkins. Suckers. Ok, I think I'm about done for now. I'm gonna go lie down and prepare for sleep. I'll write either late tomorrow night or Thursday afternoon, to tell how the show went. Peace.

The changes were all necessary to keep the general audience. Actually there were more changes in The Fellowship. But none the less, they are 2 of the greatest movies ever made, not from being based on the book, but from an actual movie stand point. Nothing can top this trilogy in my mind... not even the original Star Wars Trilogy. But anyways, on to more important things... wait, I have nothing important to talk about. Sally Stitches' first REAL show is Wed. I think it's going to rock everyone's faces off. They won't know what hit them. I just watched Sleepaway Camp part 1 for the first time last night. I thought the movie was awesome! There's nothing like some classically bad acting, mixed with some awesome kills. Not to mention the end was just plain freakish! I recommend it to anyone. Ok, I'm going now, it's about time to eat. Peace.

Keep in mind you are comparing a Trilogy of Books to a trilogy written for the screen, if that were the case then there are a lot of others i'd have to bring in. While LOTR is one hell of a badass set so far, whats up with the unnecessary changes made, espically in The Two Towers huh?,
oh yeah, 1 through six goes. singlet double triplet quartet quintet sextet. six's prefix being sex so maybe Star Wars is a sexlogy, and wasn't it originally written to be 9 parts, I forgot what that one is???
Allen Wedge 2/02/2003 11:10:00 PM
The best trilogy ever? I don't know about that... so far Lord of the Rings is only 2 movies, and already it's the best trilogy ever. Part 3 can be the worst movie ever made, and STILL it'd be the best trilogy ever just because parts 1 and 2 absolutely OWN!!! I can't put Star Wars in the trilogy category anymore as it's soon to be at sixology, if that's the right word to use. Peace.
